Impact Ventures was launched at the beginning of 1999 by club promoter Rachael Bee primarily to manage the MTV Lick Parties which she launched with Trevor Nelson in May 1998.
The company went on to manage MTV’s Base on the Beach, Base Lounge, Flava Tour for Channel 4, the MOBO Unsigned Tour, MTV's DFC Parties, countless artist showcases and launch parties as well as taking the Lick from an 800 capacity venue to tour the UK and Europe filling 5000 capacity venues. They also managed artists including Ladies First (Polydor Records), Aron Soul (Def Jam) and Naila Boss (Emap)
In January 2001 Rachael Bee joined Def Jam and was instrumental in setting up the label in the UK. She later launched Impact marketing services and went on to work with with Ms Dynamite (Polydor), Big Brovaz, Lemar (Sony), Beverly Knight (EMI), Desert Eagle Discs (Echo), Keisha White and 2Play (Inferno) amongst many and devise and manage campaigns In Ibiza for Sega Europe.
Rachael has also run hugely successful club nights for the last 20 years including Play (nominated three years running for best Club at the Urban Music Awards). She has also been responsible for programming, marketing and event managing live events at Urban Development including shows with Omar, Nate James, Roachford and Hil St Soul.
In July 2007 Rachael Bee partnered with Jade Richardson to develop the ILUVLIVE brand and now runs a monthly event and manages the brands ever increasing development.
We also organise parties for Trevor Nelson and have a management and publishing company in conjunction with Big Life.
